What does AviLicious mean to you?
To me, AviLicious is an avatar that is too sexy for its own good. AviLicious is above average and overachieving. You see a great-looking avatar and you say, “Wow, that avatar is so beyond sexy that I can’t even come up with a word for it.”  But now there is a word, and that word is AviLicious. I don’t know how else to put it; AviLicious is just beyond the best - that’s what we are.

Where did you get this idea?
I was actually forced to come up with a new name because IMVU didn’t want us to use “Glamour IMVU Magazine” because it had IMVU in it. So, I was trying to come up with something that was unique and had never been used before. I did searches on Google for names that could not be found. I wanted the name to have Avatar somewhere in it, but then I also wanted a word that meant sexy, divine, outstanding and diverse.

How did you come up with the name of AviLicious?
To be honest, I don’t remember exactly how it came to me, but I do remember that I was putting together a list of names that I thought could work for the magazine. AviLicious happened to be one of the names on the list, and when the management voted on the names we had all come up with, AviLicious won the most votes.

Did you have any inspiration to establish this magazine?
Well the magazine was actually established by BabiiBunnie, but she decided that she couldn’t handle it anymore and needed to hand it over to someone else. I’d always wanted a magazine of my own anyway because I love to write and create websites - when you put the two together, a magazine seems to be the perfect idea. Before I came across BabiiBunnie’s ad for a new owner, I’d already been thinking about starting my own magazine. When I saw her ad, I thought it would be perfect because it was already established and just needed to be revamped. My inspiration to take over was just my passion for writing, web development and wanting to create something great for all IMVU users. Plus, I knew it would be something fun that would keep me busy while my husband is deployed.

As an owner, why do you think people should subscribe to this magazine?
I think people should subscribe to AviLicious Magazine because we have something to offer everyone. We cater to the diverse IMVU population just as much as the regular crowd. We cover everything from Furry avatars to plus-sized avatars. Also, we cover issues outside of IMVU as well such as health tips, fitness tips and even recipes. Everyone can find something interesting in AviLicious Magazine. Plus, we’re always open to opinions; AviLicious Magazine is a magazine that caters to everyone.

What are some interesting things that you can offer to the readers?
Well I think I pretty much mentioned everything above but to add on to that, we offer our readers a passionate and dedicated staff. Our staff is the best thing that any reader can have because they work hard to put this magazine together for them. Though it sometimes gets frustrating, our staff works together and focuses on the one thing that matters most to us - our readers.
